Max Wenqiang Xu (徐文强)

I am an Associate Professor at Yau Mathematical Sciences Center at Tsinghua University. I am also affiliated with Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications (BIMSA).
I was a Simons Junior Fellow at the Simons Society of Fellows, hosted by Courant Institute, and a research member at SL Math (MSRI), Berkeley. I obtained my PhD from Stanford in 2024, where I was extremely fortunate to be advised by Prof. K. Soundararajan and Prof. Jacob Fox.
I am interested in number theory, probability, combinatorics, and their interaction. See Research for details. See this article on Scientific American for fun.
